Primary Research

MGC conducts primary and secondary research services within recognized methodologies carefully selected to meet the unique needs of each client.

Primary research is formulated and conducted specifically for the client.  Data is gathered and assessed to meet the client’s specific situation through several methodologies, such as:

1.  Qualitative Methods

Example:  Interviews of retailers, distributors, customers, and the like to gather information regarding:

  • wants
  • needs
  • criteria involved in buying decisions
  • price concerns
  • product quality issues
  • customer service concerns
  • clients’ reputation
  • product/service reputation
  • reputation of the competitor, direct and in-direct;

2.  Quantitative Methods

Example:  questionnaires (direct by phone, indirect by mail or e-mail) to gather information regarding statistical details regarding the above topic areas.
